Throughout this section you will pass through vineyard lands and fields and cereals until you enter the region of La Rioja, popular for the quality of its wines. Different medieval bridges and churches are present along this route that passes through beautiful villages such as Estella or Puente de la Reina, among others.

Your journey today will begin in Pamplona following the path along the Sedar River to later ascend to Alto del Perdón, where you will find the famous pilgrim monument and magnificent views of Pamplona and the Pyrenees. Your path continues to the town of Puente de la Reina, with its spectacular medieval bridge over the Arga River.
You will wake up in Puente de la Reina to follow your Camino Frances in the direction of Estella between cereal lands and vineyards. You will cross several medieval bridges and pass through small villages until you reach Estella, where you will sleep tonight.
When you leave Estella, you will pass by the Irache Wineries, where you can stop and taste a good wine. Your Camino de Santiago will continue to Los Arcos, with a second stage of great tranquility. The fields of olive trees, cereals, and vineyards, will accompany you throughout the day.
Today you will leave the community of Navarra to enter La Rioja, recognized worldwide for the quality of its wines. In your Canino you will find Clavijo Castle and you will continue between a pure rural environment until you reach the city of Logroño.
Short stages option, Easy Camino: If you choose this itinerary option you can divide this stage into two stages with less route , with a first stage of 16 Km until the village of Viana , where you will spend the night, and a second stage of 10 Km until you reach Logroño.
Logroño is the capital of La Rioja, the city through which one of the main rivers of the Camino Frances passes, the Ebro. The Cathedral of Santa Maria and the old town are two of its main points of interest. We recommend that you also take advantage of the rich cuisine of La Rioja and its exquisite Tapas.
