  1. Roncesvalles

    Arrival in Roncesvalles, small town of Navarra and one of the most popular starting points of the Camino Frances, because the important climb to about 1,500 meters from the previous stage is avoided. In Roncesvalles, we recommend that you visit the Collegiate Church of Santa María and the Chapel of Santiago.

  2. From Roncesvalles to Zubiri, 21 Km (13 Mi)

    You will start your way from Roncesvalles, walking between beautiful pine and beech forests, and arriving in Zubiri after leaving behind two mountain passes. Zubiri is a small town in Navarra with its historic medieval bridge over the Arga River.

  3. From Zubiri to Pamplona, ​​20 Km (12 Mi)

    You will start the day following your path parallel to the Arga River with a walk of little difficulty and very pleasant to look at. You will continue crossing old bridges over the river and passing through small towns until you reach the city of Pamplona, ​​popular worldwide for the San Fermin Festival. Pamplona is a cozy city, with its medieval-era streets and its beautiful cathedral. Do not forget to taste its good gastronomy or taste a good wine from the community of Navarra.

  4. From Pamplona to Puente de la Reina, 23 Km (14 Mi)

    Your journey today will begin in Pamplona following the path along the Sedar River to later ascend to Alto del Perdón, where you will find the famous pilgrim monument and magnificent views of Pamplona and the Pyrenees. Your path continues to the town of Puente de la Reina, with its spectacular medieval bridge over the Arga River.

  5. From Puente de la Reina to Estella, 21 Km (13 Mi)

    You will wake up in Puente de la Reina to follow your Camino Frances in the direction of Estella between cereal lands and vineyards. You will cross several medieval bridges and pass through small villages until you reach Estella, where you will sleep tonight.

  6. From Estella to Los Arcos, 22 Km (13 Mi)

    When you leave Estella, you will pass by the Irache Wineries, where you can stop and taste a good wine. Your Camino de Santiago will continue to Los Arcos, with a second stage of great tranquility. The fields of olive trees, cereals, and vineyards, will accompany you throughout the day.

  7. From Los Arcos to Logroño, 21 Km (13 Mi)

    Today you will leave the community of Navarra to enter La Rioja, recognized worldwide for the quality of its wines. In your Canino you will find Clavijo Castle and you will continue between a pure rural environment until you reach the city of Logroño.

    Short stages option, Easy Camino: If you have opted for this itinerary option you can divide this stage into two stages with less route , spending a night in the beautiful town from Viana. The first 16 Km stage will take you from Los Arcos to Viana, and the second 10 Km from Viana to Logroño.

  8. Logroño

    Logroño is the capital of La Rioja, the city through which one of the main rivers of the Camino Frances passes, the Ebro. The Cathedral of Santa Maria and the old town are two of its main points of interest. We recommend that you also take advantage of the rich cuisine of La Rioja and its exquisite Tapas.
